After months of dreaming, building, planning, and pouring our hearts into every detail, we’re so excited to share that Wild Roots is officially open.

This opening means so much to our family.

Bettolino Kitchen has always been about bringing people together around food made with care. Since opening our doors in Redondo Beach in 2015, we’ve been grateful to serve this community in a way that feels personal, warm, and rooted in hospitality. Wild Roots is an extension of that same passion, reimagined for a fresh, fast casual experience built for everyday life.

Located in Torrance, Wild Roots was created for busy moms, professionals, students, athletes, families, and anyone looking for food that feels as good as it tastes. Our menu is centered around vibrant wraps, nourishing bowls, fresh salads, smoothies, and wholesome ingredients that are quick, craveable, and full of flavor.

Just like Bettolino, Wild Roots is built around a seed oil free kitchen. We are committed to using ingredients we feel good about serving our own family, with a focus on quality in every part of the menu. Nearly everything on our menu is gluten free, and we prioritize organic produce, organic chicken, grass fed beef, and wild caught fish. Every choice was made with intention so our guests can enjoy food that is fresh, clean, satisfying, and full of flavor.

While Wild Roots is something new, its story starts generations ago.

As fourth generation South Bay restaurateurs, food and hospitality have always been part of who we are. From Andreanna’s great grandparents opening Giuliano’s in the 1950s, to her parents opening Gaetano’s in the 1990s, to Bettolino Kitchen becoming part of the Riviera community over the last 11 years, every chapter has helped shape what Wild Roots is today.

Sean’s roots tell another part of the story. His dad was raised on a farm, where hard work was part of daily life and fresh, organic food came straight from the land. That upbringing shaped the way their family viewed food — not just as nourishment, but as something honest, wholesome, and deeply connected to health, hard work, and home.

Together, those two backgrounds — generations rooted in hospitality and generations rooted in fresh, quality ingredients — naturally evolved into Wild Roots.

We wanted to create a place that reflects both sides of that story: a place where vibrant, nourishing food meets the warmth of home and community. A place where eating well feels simple, joyful, and accessible. A place that feels true to the South Bay lifestyle — active, coastal, grounded, and full of heart.

This restaurant was built with intention. It is healthy without feeling restrictive, convenient without sacrificing quality, and elevated while still feeling approachable.

We are incredibly proud to open our doors and even more excited to welcome you in.
